Club History:

Organized on April 19, 1965, and Chartered on May 18, 1966, Altrusa International Inc. of Anniston Alabama is a wonderful representation of what Altrusa is all about. The giving of self to the community is an integral part of the members of Anniston.   The Club's theme is "Celebrate the Stars of America."

Club Meetings:

The club meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 12:20 p.m. at Ryan's Restaurant in Anniston, AL.

Service Projects & Fundraisers: Altrusa International, Inc. of Anniston Annual Theme "Shining the Light Through Literacy". All service projects will involve literacy.
  • Attention Home Book Donation
  • "Books & Bites" Funds will be donated to the local library to provide books for a book study program
  • Women's Health Screening (books are given as gifts)
  • Stewart/Wilson Memorial Fund Loan/Grant Program Award
  • Family Night at the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Programs (provide books for the families)
  • "Bear & Prayers" provide books and bears for the children of the Calhoun /Cleburne Children’s Center
  • The Mary Emma Wilson Top Pecan Seller Award (500.00 to the charity of choice)
