Boaz, AL Club History: The Boaz Club was chartered in 1993. Club Meetings: The Club meets the 3rd Monday of each month from 5:30-7:30. Having 1 monthly night meeting has more than doubled the attendance at meetings. Service Projects & Fundraisers: Committed to $28,500 donation to the new Boaz Public Library - a section of the Library will be named after the Boaz Altrusa Club Basket of Love Project - this has been an ongoing project where we provide the surgical waiting room with snacks, reading material, and other items for people waiting for their loved ones to get out of surgery Adopt a School Teacher - we purchased school supplies for a new teacher in the Boaz school system.
