Welcome to the Altrusa District Four website. If it is your first time let me begin by encouraging you to explore what each club in our District is doing. Throughout the next two years we hope to make this website a strong tool for local clubs to share ideas on service projects and fundraisers, inspire new clubs in our district and support all clubs to embrace their membership.
Our members of the four states, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana are the Winning Team Players of our organization. No matter how big or small in numbers the clubs are, each member makes a difference in the lives in their community. I would like each of you to call on any board member or committee chair for assistance in any way to help meet the needs of your clubs. Our goal for the next two years is to continue to build resources for the local clubs. To help you with programs, accents, membership drives, building new clubs, Astra as service and so much more. We are here to "Cheer" YOU on to make your touchdowns, goals, and homeruns.
Look for updates on this website often. We are excited about the image makeover that International is doing and hope to follow suit. Altrusa is a wonderful organization to belong to, to be able to give back, and encourage others to be compassionate about your community here and abroad. The Bible teaches us to do good works even when eyes are not upon us, to put others first and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Altrusa is a great way to do His works.
I am excited about the next two years and hope to have a continual PEP RALLY at Local and District Four that the works of Altrusa will spread like a wild fire, and all will want to be involved because of the members that are fired up about the service projects that you are doing. The best way to grow Altrusa is to be passionate about the works you are doing. Actions speak a lot louder than words.
So let's get busy making our meeting up and fun before the Big Game! District Four Let's Score.

Altrusa is an international network of executives and professionals in diversified career classifications, dedicated to improving their communities by personal service. Through their local clubs, members unite their varied talents in service to others. Altrusa is recognized internationally for the significant contributions of its clubs and members.

District Four is composed of 22 clubs in the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Altrusa District Four is one of 15 Districts of Altrusa International. Each district has a Governor with a 2 year term.
